Overview

Join Us on the 3rd of February for a thought-provoking event on : Respect For Animals with Tricia Croasdell

What do we owe the many animals on which we rely - - for food, clothing, work, entertainment and sustainability, among many other benefits?

This is the theme of the next meeting of the IIEA Brussels Branch at 7.00PM on Tuesday 3rd February at the

Offices of the Northern Ireland Executive,

Chaussée d”Etterbeek 180, Brussels

PLEASE NOTE THE ADDRESS.

We are pleased to welcome as our main speaker Tricia Croasdell, Global CEO of World Animal Protection, and previously in a variety of senior roles in communication in the UK Government, including working from 10 Downing Street. The Irish perspective will be provided by Sarah Hanley policy executive from the Irish Farmers Association.

Animal Welfare is also an important, and current, topic at EU level, with the Commission's recent consultation on the subject, which attracted nearly a quarter of a million responses from EU citizens, and a commitment to the modernisation of animal welfare.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Offices of the Northern Ireland Executive on 3rd February at 7.00.
