<h3>Introduction</h3><p>Cambridgeshire and Peterborough  ICS have commissioned Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, Cambridge and Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, Peterborough to deliver ReSPECT Training for all GP Practices and Care Providers in the area.</p><p></p><p>This ReSPECT Process Level 3 Training will be held at the <strong>Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge</strong> and is open to GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Specialist Nurses, Care Home Nurses and Managers and Advanced Paramedic Practitioners, who may hold ReSPECT conversations and complete the ReSPECT form.</p><h3></h3><h3>Course content</h3><ul><li>ReSPECT: why now? </li><li>Exploring the Medico-legal aspect of ReSPECT</li><li>The ReSPECT conversations:  who, when and how</li><li>Shared decision making and recommended treatments</li><li>Identifying and addressing challenges </li><li>Case studies &amp; Q&amp;A</li></ul><p></p><p>T﻿his is a three hour face to face training session. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.</p><h3></h3><h3>Venue</h3><p><strong>Arthur Rank Hospice Charity</strong></p><p>Education Centre, Arthur Rank Hospice, Cherry Hinton Road, Shelford Bottom, Cambridge CB22 3FB. The Education &amp; Conference Centre at the hospice is fully accessible.</p><p>Directions and Visitor Parking to the Education &amp; Conference Centre </p><p>By Car: If you are using Sat Nav please use the P&amp;R postcode CB22 3AB as some sat navs do not currently recognise the location of the new hospice. A map with directions is available at <a href="http://www.arhc.org.uk/contact-us.asp" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://www.arhc.org.uk/contact-us.asp</a><a href="http://www.arhc.org.uk/contact-us.asp" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a></p><p><strong>Car Parking: </strong>Visitors to the Education &amp; Conference Centre should park at the Babraham Road Park and Ride located next to the hospice and use the footpath to the Centre.  Car parking at the Park and Ride is free for up to 18 hours. The car park at the Hospice is reserved for patients, families and Blue Badge holders only.</p><p>By Public Transport/Taxi: Cambridge Railway Station is approximately 3 miles from the Hospice. Taxis are available outside the entrance to the station or buses run from the city centre/railway station/Addenbrookes to the Babraham Park &amp; Ride. Once at the Park &amp; Ride, walk towards the vehicular entrance to access the pedestrian footpath to the hospice</p><p><strong>Cycling: </strong>There are secure bicycle racks at the front of the hospice.</p><p></p><p>Mailing List:  We will provide you with details of future educational events on ReSPECT  via email.
