<H2><SPAN>* <EM>This training is for teaching staff supporting young people in Secondary. Colleges and Alternative Educational provision.</EM></SPAN></H2>

<H2><SPAN><SPAN>Responding to Self-harm Simulation Training is based in Macclesfield District General Hospital (MDGH). This training is aimed at professionals working within the education sector, who care/support for children and young people.</SPAN></SPAN></H2>
<H2><SPAN><SPAN><STRONG></STRONG>You are required to complete the Minded module: Self-Harm and Risky Behaviour prior to the face to face learning and will be asked to produce your certificate on the day. Further information will be sent to you in your confirmation email.</SPAN></SPAN></H2>
<H2><SPAN>This style of training provides a safe and supported opportunity to practice responding to self-harm behavior. There will be optional pre-reading that describes the actor’s scenarios.</SPAN></H2>
<H2><SPAN>Please note that this training is practical and involves involvement from all delegates (discussion/role-play).</SPAN></H2>
<H2><SPAN>We have received feedback from previous delegates saying that this enables learning and improves confidence. </SPAN></H2>
