Rest and restore with yoga nidra

Rest and restore with yoga nidra

Overview

Class open to all to rest and restore with yogic sleep. A guided embodied meditation designed for healing, creativity and inspiration

Weekly classes to rest and restore, dropping out of your day, your week, your year into deep yogic rest. Yoga nidra is the yoga of sleep. It’s a guided meditation which has specific sections proven to bring you into theta brainwaves or hypnogogic state. This is a very healing, creative, inspiring space. Artists and visionaries like Einstein and Van Gogh would deliberately put themselves in this space in order to be creative.

Classes will consist of some gentle movement to get out of your mind and into your body, making you more receptive for yoga nidra. And then we will come to a resting space of lying, reclining or seated. The idea is complete comfort. And then I will guide you through embodied meditation to support rest, restoration, rejuvenation, healing, creativity, motivation, inspiration and improved sleep.

If your idea of yoga is lying down and having a sleep, then this is for you! Sometimes singing bowls or other soothing music will accompany it.

Bring a mat, a blanket and possibly a small pillow for under your head or knees. Bring water and yourself and wear anything comfy and cosy.
