About this event

  • 8 hours

Welcome, welcome, beautiful beings from far & wide, it's time for us to gather together to rest & rejoice in celebration of summer!

You are invited to a full-day Yoga retreat in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, an exploration into the true nature of Yoga.

What is Yoga?

True Yoga is a way of life.

True Yoga embodies the physical, mental, and spiritual systems that help us bring the body and mind into balance.

True Yoga is an inspirational guide to overcoming difficulties and creating sustainable joy.

True Yoga is learning how to rest consciously.

True Yoga is integrity, honesty, kindness & presence.

Rest & Rejoice!

"Be kind, forgive, love more, share, serve, eat healthy, move your body, do Yoga, commune with nature, meditate & pray." The recipe for creating a life you love.

Many people are 'put off' by the idea of Yoga, as they have this pre-conceived idea that they need to be super flexible, strong, and spiritually minded. But the truth is, none of this matters.

Yoga is not just Asana (movement), Yoga is a philosophy, Yoga is how we choose to live our lives, which actions we take, and how we think, and there are many different tools that we can use to help us along the way.

At the Rest & Rejoice Retreat, I want to introduce you to lots of different ways of practicing Yoga, in the hope that you will find one (or perhaps more) practice(s) that you enjoy and can continue to use as a tool to assist you in elevating your own life to greater levels of joy and abundance.

What to Expect:

All ages, genders, and levels of experience are welcome at this retreat, from absolute beginners to seasoned Yogis.

We will be exploring the following practices:

  • Mantra: Spoken word/prayer/sound meditations
  • Mudra: Hand & body gestures
  • Yam/Niyam Philosophy: The 10 foundations of Yoga
  • Pranayama: Conscious breath work
  • Kundalini Asana: Poses/Postures to help expand your aura & chakras(energy field & nerve centers)
  • Nature Mindfulness Meditation
  • Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing: "Yogic sleep" deep rest & relaxation meditation journey with Tibetan singing bowls

*A healthy, organic lunch is included at the retreat and hot drinks will be available throughout the day.

What to Bring:

  • Yoga mat (if you don't have one, no problem there will be some spares)
  • Loose, comfortable clothes
  • Warm jumper or blanket for the sound healing meditation
  • Notepad & pen
  • Water bottle

Meet Your Guide: Chloe Rose

Chloe is a certified Traditional Hatha & Kundalini Yoga teacher, Alternative Medicine Practitioner, Artist, Intuitive Guide, and Space Holder. She fell in love with Yoga in her early 20s and has been exploring and refining many different styles of Yoga for 12+ years.

She had the absolute blessing of 1-1 coaching for 2 months, 6 days a week with incredible Yoga teachers in Rishikesh, India. She was taught the traditional (non-western) teachings of both Kundalini & Hatha Yoga, including intensive chakra education, traditional philosophies, advanced meditation techniques, pranayam (breathwork), mantra, anatomy & Ayurveda (learning about nutrition & body types).

She has been teaching private clients, group classes, and holding event spaces for the past 4 years and is currently working on multiple retreat spaces and online courses. She is an intuitive guide and a wonderful listener, here to help support people wherever they are at on their journey.

Her life has not been an easy ride, struggling with depression and anxiety from a young age. However, embarking on her inward journey has been the catalyst to turning her life around and she is passionate about helping others on their spiritual quest. Chloe believes that she is here on Earth to share the tales of her past experiences to help show others the way to connect to themselves and their true calling.

Chloe loves bringing people together to watch the magic unfold within a safe and conscious community space.
