A chance to lean about Floodplain Meadows, their history, management and restoration.

We are joined by experts from the Floodplain Meadows Partnership and Herefordshire Meadows who are working with Herefordshire Wildlife Trust in the restoration of the Meadows.


· Introduction to the Meadows, recent history and plans for restoration

· Introduction to Floodplain Meadows, their history, ecology and current conservation status.

· Bartonsham Meadows Progress to date and plans for the future.

· Intro to restoration at other sites, case studies

· Monitoring techniques, botanical, hydrological, fauna, soil

· Site visit to Bartonsham Meadows ( a short walk from the venue) to look at how the land is being managed in different ways and look at plants, soils.
