The Hunger Project Hunger is a global, non-profit, strategic organisation committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. Our mission is to facilitate individual and collective action to transform the systems of inequity that create hunger and cause it to persist. We do this by pioneering sustainable, grassroots, women-centred strategies and advocating for their widespread adoption in countries throughout the world. We comprise of 13 Programme countries across rural Africa, South Asia and Latin America and 12 Partner countries.Top-down, aid-driven charity models fail to create lasting change in the lives of those in need. To achieve a sustainable solution to hunger, we need to flip that model on its head, and afford those living in hunger access to the education and tools needed to end hunger for good. <p>The Rethinking What's Possible workshop, led by Karen Skidmore, is brought to you by The Hunger Project UK's Unleashed Women movement. It is based on the courageous transformation from hunger and dependency to sustainable self-reliance of empowered women and men in our partner countries across Africa, India and Bangladesh. </p><h3>Join us for a fresh perspective on leadership: </h3><ul><li>Discover the inspiring stories of our village partners.</li><li>Recalibrate your own perspective of what is possible in your life.</li><li>Challenge your assumptions about what’s limiting your own capacity to be extraordinary.</li><li>Explore how  mindsets and entrenched beliefs can be transformed.</li><li>Discover how you can invest in The Hunger Project by becoming one of the founding members of Unleashed Women UK.  </li></ul><p>This interactive workshop will challenge your assumptions about what's limiting your own capacity in life. <h3>A﻿bout the Speaker</h3><p>Karen Skidmore is a business strategist and catalyst, with 25+ years commercial experience and almost two decades of running her own coaching and leadership companies. Having recovered from burnout in her 40’s, she knows what it takes to be able to thrive in business and she now helps coaches, experts and business leaders create the right infrastructure, systems and team to grow strong and scalable businesses. She’s also a Business Book Awards Finalist, menopause champion and regularly speaks about the importance of purposeful, profitable growth.</p><p>Karen has been an investor of The Hunger Project for several years and helped relaunch the UK Unleashed Women community in 2021.</p><h3>About Unleashed Women UK</h3><p>Unleashed Women UK is an amazing collective of women, who want to change the world.
