The purpose of this event:
This Retreating to Advance event has been planned to be fluid, interactive, reflective and dynamic.
Some of the subjects to be participated in will be:
o God, we are here for You; to hear from You
o Sharing experiences from the street
o Prayer for our Cities
o Q&A opportunities
o Short exhortations on being equipped
o Testimonies
o Reflective Prayer
Please bring your own packed lunch; refreshments will be provided. And there will be comfort breaks
Firestarters International has hosted a number of conferences over the years.
However this Retreat to Advance event is an opportunity to meet the Firestarter’s Team so that together with previous Equipping Conference attendees, and other supporters, and those who are interested in the work of Firestarters International may be supportive in prayer for the work, and hear what progress we have made on the Streets of Brighton & Hove over the past few years and during our previous Equipping Conferences.
Who are we ?:
Firestarters International focuses on arming believers with the fire of the Holy Spirit to do the works that Jesus did.
It is a team of people who regularly go out sharing God's love and praying for people on the streets.
The aims of the group are to equip people in evangelism and to provide opportunities to join with others on the streets.
They work with local churches and believers with the goal of helping to equip disciples to be to be agents of transformation for the Kingdom of God.
