Join Retro Ramblers on a 7.7 mile walk starting and finishing at the Hall & Woodhouse, Wichelstowe, Swindon.

SUMMARY:

Join Retro Ramblers on a 7.7 mile walk starting and finishing at the Hall & Woodhouse, Wichelstowe, Swindon.

We will be walking from the Hall & Woodhouse, along the Boardwalk, making our way to the old railway line towards the Woodlands Edge, where we will make a quick comfort break, before heading back through Shaw, Westlea and Toothill, before going back onto the old railway line, along the Wilts & Berks Canal, before finishing at Hall & Woodhouse, where we can pop in for a well earned drink.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please arrive 15 minutes early, to check in.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome on this walk.

As I cannot control the weather, please wear/bring appropriate footwear and clothing, as well as a drink, to stay hydrated.

PARKING:

Parking is free.

Limited parking is available on the road, slightly further down from the Hall & Woodhouse.

You can also park in Waitrose Car Park, as they are not enforcing the 3 hour parking rule at present. Waitrose & Partners, Mill Lane, Wichelstowe, Swindon SN1 7BX
