Return to Yourself: Transformative Retreat Day

Wasing ParkReading, England
Saturday, Jan 17 from 10 am to 5 pm GMT
Overview

Get ready to reconnect with your inner self during a day of transformation at Wasing Park - it's time to return to yourself!

A Day to Come Home to Yourself

There are moments when life feels loud — not just around you, but inside you.
Thoughts stack up. The nervous system stays switched on. Even rest can feel busy.

This retreat day is an invitation to step out of that rhythm and into something slower, deeper, and more nourishing.

A day where nothing is required of you.
A day where you don’t have to explain yourself, perform, fix, or hold anyone else.
A day designed to gently guide you back into your body, your breath, and your natural sense of ease.

Held in a beautiful, calming space, this day is about restoration, presence, and reconnection — with yourself and with what truly matters.

What This Day Offers You

Space to deeply rest and reset
Time away from conversation, devices, and external demands
Gentle practices that calm the mind and soothe the nervous system
A chance to feel grounded, clear, and quietly supported
A renewed sense of inner steadiness you can take back into daily life

Many people describe leaving these days feeling:

  • lighter
  • clearer
  • more spacious
  • deeply nourished
  • and unexpectedly energised

The Flow of the Day

Throughout the day you’ll be guided through carefully held practices, including:

  • Gentle Qi Gong to soften the body and move energy with ease
  • A deeply immersive sound experience using gongs and singing bowls
  • Guided meditative practices to settle the mind and deepen awareness
  • Spacious breaks for rest, reflection, and simple presence

Everything is optional. You are always invited to listen to your own needs.

This is not about “doing it right” — it’s about allowing.

Held by Experienced Practitioners

Amanda Riley
With years of experience holding retreats and supporting people by providing Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, and daily online Meditation, Amanda creates spaces where people feel safe, seen, and able to truly let go. This work is rooted in the belief that when we slow down enough, the body and soul remember how to heal.

Monica Bazzani
Monica brings a warm, grounded presence through Qi Gong and sound. As a Gong Master Practitioner, Reiki Master, and sound therapist, she weaves vibration and movement in a way that feels both deeply nurturing and powerfully transformative.

Together, we hold these days with care, integrity, and deep respect for each person’s inner process.
