REVISION AND EXAMS WORKSHOP: FOR SpLD TUTORS

A 1.5 hour PASSHE Accredited CPD online workshop presented by Kassandra Clemens*. This training is open to PASSHE MEMBERS ONLY. This training is particularly relevant to SpLD tutors supporting students facing exams and re-takes. The workshop presentation focus will be on revision in sync with how the brain learns most easily and effectively.

This workshop will consider:

Facilitating correct expectations;
Appreciating how the brain learns;
Preparing effective revision materials;
Prioritising revision;
Learning effectively;
Preparing for & Staying in control of exams;
Long-term revision throughout the academic year.

The workshop is being held online, via Zoom and will run from 11.00 - 12.30pm on Wednesday 7th May 2025.

*About the presenter: Kassandra Clemens is a Study Skills tutor with over 18 years experience in working with neurodivergent adults. She is the founder and executive director of Heal Your Confidence, a Community Interest Company which serves the neurodivergent adult community.

This event is being offered at a fixed fee of £40 per ticket, in line with our new arrangements and includes the CPD certificate.

Cancellation policy: ticket cancelled with more than 48 hours notice: Refund, less £10 booking/admin fee.

If cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, full fee is due and no refund will be given.
