Empowering Young People to Change Their World through the ArtsWac Arts is an arts organisation based in the Old Town Hall, Belsize Park, North London.Wac Arts is  driven by the needs of young people and the community for over 45 years. Working with thousands of young people aged  4 - 30 .Wac Arts prides offers an accessible and affordable Arts Programme that celebrates diversity, providing weekend and evening classes, holiday projects, and outreach workshops that respond to the needs and interests of young people.Wac Arts works with artist tutors and art forms which reflect the diverse and vibrant communities of the young people we serve.

Join us for Revival: an hour of online poetry performances and an interactive poetry workshop to get you feeling connected and inspired.

Together we'll be exploring the idea of Revival, looking at mental health, wellbeing and healing, featuring incredible artists:Tanaka Fuego (he/they)Tanaka Fuego is a slam winning, multi-published, international spoken word artist, performing sold out shows at Edinburgh’s Fringe festival and Vault festival, and recently being involved in British Vogue X Prim digital pride campaign. Tanaka Fuego is a BBC Extra words first alumni, a Roundhouse Slam finalist and part of the Roundhouse poetry collective. Loussin-Torah Pilikian (she/her)Loussin-Torah Pilikian is a talented actress, poet and practitioner based in North West London whose most recent work includes If You Go Down to the Great North Wood Today - a poem written and performed for London WildLife Trust's Great North Wood Festival. Loussin-Torah is passionate about using the arts as expressive healing tools for good health and wellbeing and is the founder of Speak Easy; a fearless community of sensational storytellers and powerful artists, where she helps people gain social and emotional confidence through poetry, movement and performance.Sam Bruce (they/them)Sam Bruce AKA A Queer Poet is a London based Illustrator, Poet and Workshop Facilitator. They are company Director of the creative collective and poetry evening, House of Rhymes. Sam’s work explores topics within the queer and non-binary community, identification and breaking gender norms.This event will be hosted by I Angel Beddelem and is brought to you by the Wac Arts Young Producers:Alicia SilvaDhanush GiridharI Angel BeddelemKarishma SangtaniPlease note this event will be exploring topics related to mental health, which some audience members may find triggering.
