Welcome to Rewild Your Riverside!

A weekly hands‑on conservation session designed to help you connect with nature, care for local heritage, meet your community, and make a real difference to the Thames riverside.

What to Expect

Together, we’ll be restoring and enhancing this beautiful stretch of riverside - improving habitats for wildlife, strengthening the riverbank, protecting the historic landscape and caring for the landscape that so many people enjoy. Activities may include:

  • Removing invasive scrub
  • Planting native wetland species
  • Using traditional techniques to reduce erosion
  • Learning about river ecology and ecosystem restoration

No previous experience is needed - just enthusiasm! All tools, materials, and guidance are provided. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

These sessions are friendly, relaxed, and open to all. Bring along a friend, family member, or come solo and meet like‑minded people. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, so we can warm up and chat between tasks.


What to bring:

  • Comfortable outdoor clothing
  • Sturdy shoes or boots
  • A packed lunch
