Kick off the new year by reconnecting with yourself and nature at our Rewilding one Day Retreat.

Take the opportunity to move your body as you get to explore the outdoors, chase waterfalls, and partake in a series of activities, that will support you in starting the year feeling more grounded, confident and assured in yourself.


Whether you're a nature newbie or an avid outdoor girlie, this event is all about community, and adventure, while giving you the opportunity to experience the benefits of Outdoor Therapy with the guidance and support of your facilitator and trained therapist.

During the day, you'll get the chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience the benefits of outdoor therapy, while also engage in discussions on a themed topic with your fellow members and facilitator.


🥾 What to expect ?
You and your group head off on a guided hike. On the walk you will get to see and go behind the tallest waterfall in South Wales.

There will be breaks along the way which will include:

Guided breath work

Introduction to shinrin-yoku

Reflective journaling

Seasonal ritual

DBT practice for a mind and body reset.

Cold water dip (optional)

Group picnic


Led by Suzan, founder of the Hiking Girlies Facilitator and Psychotherapeutic counsellor.

🗺️ Route highlights:

Our route takes you along serene forest trails that weave through majestic trees, ultimately leading to the spectacular Henrhyd Falls. This stunning 90-foot waterfall, nestled within the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, offers not only a visual feast but also a whisper of cinematic history, having served as the Batcave backdrop in "The Dark Knight Rises."


🥾 Outdoor Therapy :

As you walk, you’ll find moments to breathe deeply, listen intently, and truly immerse yourself in the natural surroundings, fostering a beautiful sense of calm and well-being with the integration of Outdoor therapeutic practices.

✔️Experience shinrin-yoku -

Fun fact! Trees release chemicals called phytoncides, which have a protective antimicrobial effect on human bodies and thereby boost the immune system.


💡Therapeutic benefits :

✔️ Reduces blood pressure, lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol and improve concentration and memory.
✔️ Cold water dips are known to reset the nervous system and support with regulation.
✔️ Hiking in nature can elevate dopamine levels providing the feeling of euphoria.
