RIBA East Small Practice Network Meet Up
Please join the RIBA East Small Practice Network at our bi-annual meet up in Cambridge on Friday 23rd January.
We are delighted to announce that we have arranged a tour of RIBA East award winning project Dovehouse Court in Girton, Cambridge by Mole Architects. Ian Bramwell, Director at Mole Architects, will show us around this certified Passivhaus housing project and talk us through the design and construction process in detail. Spaces are very limited for the tour due to space constraints within the flats, so tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis – sign up NOW to avoid disappointment!
Following the tour, we will travel into Cambridge for a two course lunch and a catch up with members at the Punter Pub. https://www.thepuntercambridge.com/. We have 30 spaces available for lunch so looking forward to catching up with lots of members at this event.
The Punter Pub No.3 Pound Hill, Cambridge, CB3 0AE.
Transport is not provided so please ensure you can make your way from Dovehouse Court to the pub if attending both.

About the RIBA East Small Practice Network:
This successful network was set up in response to requests from small or emerging practices, often sole practitioners, for a friendly and supportive forum where those with less experience and opportunities to network might meet to share thoughts and experiences. Now running for nearly 5 years, the network’s co-chairs host monthly online meetings which often include engaging guest speakers or informal CPD sessions in addition to networking, and two in-person events a year supported by the RIBA Local Initiative Funding. The network is open to sole practitioners or small practices with five employees or less, located within the eastern region.
Kindly note that failure to meet the above criteria will result in the automatic cancellation of your ticket.
RIBA Terms & Conditions:
- A photographer will cover this event and the images may be used to publicise future RIBA events.
- By accepting an invitation or purchasing a ticket you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as a visitor attending the event.
- Cancellations must be made in writing to events@riba.org. No refunds can be made for cancellations notified within 30 days of the event. To transfer your ticket/s to another individual/s, please contact events@riba.org.
- Tickets to be transferred at least 14 days prior to the event. Complimentary tickets are strictly non-transferable.
- If the RIBA must postpone or cancel the event the booker is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price only.
- On entry to the event you agree to accept and abide by any venue rules.
- The RIBA reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder.
- The details you provide will be used in line with the RIBA's GDPR obligations. For information on how we will handle your personal data please see our Privacy Policy
