RIBA Europe - Shaping the Future of Architecture in Venice -Day 1

RIBA International is delighted to announce the launch of the RIBA Europe chapter. This new chapter will serve a growing network of over 2,500 architects, 12 architecture schools and approximately 7,500 students.

To celebrate the launch of the new chapter, please join RIBA Europe in Venice for engaging tours and visits as well as the opportunity to network and exchange ideas at a cocktail reception. The activities will be taking place across two days Friday 9 May and Saturday 10 May.

Day 1 Friday, 9 May 2025

15:00-16:30 Tour - Punta Della Dogana Museum

On the site sits a long, low-slung 17th-century structure punctuated at its tip by a squat tower topped with an ornamental green and gold weather vane representing fortune. This former customs house of Venice, the Dogana da Mar, was purchased in 2007 by François Pinault with the intention of converting the structure into an art museum, a task he entrusted to Tadao Ando.

17:00-19:00 Cocktail reception - Wine Bar 5000

Join us for a cocktail reception in a charming Venetian wine bar, where you can unwind and enjoy a selection of drinks. This relaxed setting offers the perfect opportunity to network with fellow guests, exchange ideas, and make new connections in a casual, welcoming environment.

· If RIBA has to postpone or cancel the event the booker is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price only.

· RIBA reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder.

· If you are unable to attend or substitute a delegate, please inform ribainternational@riba.org at least 48 hours prior to the event date.
