King Henry VIII School

Geoff Haviland of the Riley Heritage Trust will discuss the newly built replica of the first Riley Car.

<p>Join us at Henry's for a showcase  by Geoff Haviland of the Riley Heritage Trust. He will present and discuss the newly built replica of the first Riley Car, which will be on show at Henry's. The original was designed and manufactured by Old Coventrian Percy Riley whilst still at school back in 1896. It incorporated the first use of the mechanical fuel injection in an automobile. </p><p>There is no admission charge, but donations towards the next phase of the build, which will be the construction of a replica engine would be most welcome. </p>
