What kind of event is this?

This is a live game show about movies in a pub. A bit like a pub trivia quiz, but rather than people being split into teams, individual contestants will take part around the pub and on stage. The event will also be filmed.

Can I be a contestant?

Certainly! Please make yourself known to the team if you want to participate. All contestants will be filmed.

Question 3

Will I be on camera?

Accepted Answer

Anyone who enters the designated event area in the pub might appear on camera, including audience. Please only enter the area if you're OK with this. It will be possible to view the event without entering the area but not to participate.

Where will the video be used?

Accepted Answer

An edited video will be produced for YouTube and footage will also be used in a future independent feature film. Video clips will also be shared on other social media platforms and may appear on broadcast TV or elsewhere.

Is the venue accessible?

It's a ground floor pub that opens onto the street - it's a former fire station - so it's pretty accessible for most people. Along the road at Waterloo station, lifts are available from the mainline and from the Jubilee line. Many accessible buses stop nearby.

How do I get there?

Accepted Answer

Head to Waterloo station and use the Waterloo Road exit, by the Jubilee line escalators, take a right and it's a few doors down along the pavement. Many buses stop nearby and there's a taxi rank at the station.

Can I drive and park nearby?

Accepted Answer

We really don't recommend this. There's very little parking in the area and the roads get very congested. It's also in the London C-Charge and ULEZ zones. Use public transport, bike or taxi.

Is the venue open before/after the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The venue is open from 9am and closes at 11pm on a Tuesday.
