Rise and Design - Innovation in Branding
...because even brands have to keep innovating.
We all know that a brand is much more than a logo, and like everything in business, is in a state of constant change.
So perhaps we should apply the same innovative thinking to our brands, that we do for everything else in our business.
After all, it's often the first thing your customer thinks of.
So we'll be hearing from businesses who take that creative and innovative approach to managing their brand, making sure it reflects who they really are, and more importantly, the ever changing needs and perceptions of their customers.
Speakers include
Sally Smallwood, Chief Wreckre8tor, Wreckreation
Sally is chief designer, clothing fabricator and pattern producer at Wreckreation, a custom fashion studio based in County Durham. Her unique, hand made clothing is inspired by high octane motorsport, sci-fi and the writings of Neitsche, has appeared in GQ numerous times, and led to a collaboration with the legendary Team Shelby.
Sally will take us through the story and passion behind the brand, and Wreckreation's mission:
- To create long-lasting, hard-wearing items.
- To be creators and not the created.
- To question everything and to stand up for what we believe in.
Further speakers will be announced soon.
Rise and Design lasts for approximately three hours, and includes networking before and after speakers. There is a chance to pitch at the end of the speakers' presentations, and you can book a stand for the whole event. We encourage all delegates to stay after presentations for networking - it is one of the most valuable parts of Rise and Design.
