Our desire for RISE is for people to be equipped, encouraged and empowered to rise up and be a positive influence in their world.

RISE is hosted by Influence Church, a multi-location church in the heart of northern England.

Gathering for RISE will be people of all ages, backgrounds, experiences and life stories from across all our locations, as well as friends and guests from churches across the nation. There will be powerful moments of worship, some phenomenal teaching from our guest speakers and quality time for community and connections.

Guest Speakers

Ps Sujith Alex - Beacon Church, Bury St Edmunds

Sujith is a passionate communicator and loves inspiring people to believe in all the good things that God has for them.

He is married to Reshmy and they have two children.

A graduate of the University of Wales, Bangor with a Masters in Practical Theology, he enjoys watching sport and spending time with leaders from all sectors of society.

Sujith serves as one of the Area Leaders for churches across six counties in the East Anglia and London region.

Ps Sam Jones - Legacy Church, Doncaster

Sam Jones is a pastor, visionary leader, and gifted communicator based in Doncaster, UK.

He and his wife Becca serve as Campus Pastors of Legacy Church; a growing, multi-generational church with campuses in Doncaster and Swansea. Since taking on the role in 2022, Sam has led with prophetic vision and a clear commitment to growth, overseeing the church's expansion to double Sunday services across both campuses.

Holding a Master's degree in Practical Theology from the University of Chester, Sam is currently in transition toward the role of Senior Leader, with oversight of the Legacy Church network and its wider relationships.

Ps Ben and Gale Dowding - Influence Church, UK

As Senior Pastors of Influence Church, Ps Ben and Gale are both passionate about building a relevant, growing and influential local church that sees the purposes of God fulfilled across the nation. They are both passionate about building a church that enables people to encounter God and empowers them to make a difference for the Kingdom of God, through their lives.

Pastors Ben and Gale have a role as Area Leaders for Assemblies of God in the North of England. This involves, providing connection, encouragement and training for churches and Pastors across the North.
