Rising Together: Responding to Youth Violence & Exploring Drug Policy
Creating unity, building skills and knowledge to empower parents, carers and community members to develop a collective response
Welcome to Rising Together: Responding to Youth Violence & Exploring Drug Policy
An event aimed at bringing parents, carers and community members from Black and racially minoritised communities together to build collective knowledge and power.
Join us on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025, at 6pm for an impactful in-person event at St Paul's Learning Centre. This event follows our last 3 gatherings, presenting our Tackling Serious Violence Community Resource, finalising our Call to Action and agreeing our collective next steps.
The evening includes updates on what services committed last time and researcher Delano Gournet-Moore will present our evidence-based demands, inviting attendees to sign up and finalise next steps.
We will also be joined by Transform Drugs Policy Foundation who will be providing an introduction to Drug Policy, encouraging us to consider how these policies affect our community, and future opportunities to be involved in research and community action
Food and Refreshments will be provided
