Training to become a Riverfly surveyor, including a practical in-river session.
Please bring lunch, laptop/notebook, practical clothes for outdoor session, wellies/waders, and suncream/sun hat/rain coat, depending on the weather for the day!
10:30-10:45 – Arrival, time to get tea and settled etc.
10:45-11:100– Start
11:00-12:30pm Intro to Riverfly/Health and Safety – deskbased presentation
12:30pm - Lunch
1:00pm – Down to local waterbody for the practical session
3:15-3:45pm – Summary and feedback
4:00pm - End
