Welcome to the Motiv8 Recovery Walk!

Join us for a walk filled with inspiration, support and community. The Motiv8 Road to Recovery Walk is a gathering of individuals celebrating their journey to sobriety and mental wellness along with an opportunity for anyone to join this walk from Douglas to Peel along the Old Railway Line as part of the Islands Heritage Trails.

Whether you're in recovery yourself, supporting a loved one, or simply want to show solidarity, this event is for you. Walk alongside others who understand your struggles and triumphs.

Walk alone, with a friend or family member, bring the family and you are welcome to bring your dog along for the walk too.

Together, we'll raise awareness, break stigma, and spread hope. Let's Motiv8 each other to keep pushing forward on the path to recovery.

Mark your calendars, lace up your shoes, and get ready to walk with purpose. See you there!

What should I wear for the walk?

Wear something that is appropriate for the weather on the day, wear shoes that are comfortable for you to walk in too. As our charities main colour is purple it would be lovely if you wanted to wear something in that colour. Please bring a refillable water bottle to top up in St Johns.

What if I need a water top up along the way?

Bring your refillable water bottle with you as there will be water top up points along the way. If you are bringing your dog then there will also be water bowls for them to hydrate too.

I would like to get sponsorship for the walk is this allowed?
