Roadside Repairs

Lang Toun Cycles is a community bike shop in the heart of Kirkcaldy. We offer cycle servicing and repairs, sales of refurbished bikes, new ebikes and cycling accessories, a bike and electric-bike loan scheme, bike maintenance training and volunteering opportunities.

Lang Toun Cycles

In this bike maintenance class, you will learn how to do roadside repairs for those unexpected emergencies.

Learn how to undertake and manage roadside emergency repairs to get you home.We will look at what tools and spare you can bring with you on your ride and how to make minor repairs to ensure you can get yourself and your bike home. We will also cover problem-solving and how to improvise.Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience necessary. You will also get a free quick link for your chain to take away.Water, Tea and coffee will be availableIdeally you should bring along your own, clean bike if you like, or use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands.Booking InfoThis event is free to attend, but booking is required.
