Description

Following on from our second meeting on Tue 7th March, we are please to announce ROAM 3. Doors at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Guest speakers for this event:
- Nigel Horton-Baker, Executive Director Reading UK CIC, will share the work Reading UK is doing for the creative community in Reading and discuss future creative and cultural opportunities (http://livingreading.co.uk/)
- John Mullaney, a local historian, will talk about the art, music and sculptures of Reading Abbey in the 12th and 13th centuries and how archaeological investigation helps our understanding of their place in the life of the Abbey.

The evening will end with an 'ideas box' where you can suggest guest speakers and ideas for future events.

ROAM is a series of meet ups arranged by Creative People and jelly with support from RSA Fellowship, taking place in a variety of different venues with a guest speaker and a chance to meet, discuss, debate, hear new stories and develop ideas.
