Are there toilets?

There are no toilets at the car park, but we pass some around 5 minutes into the route. They are in Birchover village. There are none along the route, but I will point out discreet spots for 'wild wees'!

Will I be the only person showing up alone?

Accepted Answer

Proobably not! Most women who attend these walks do so for the first time without knowing anyone. We're a really friendly and welcoming bunch :)

Can I get there using public transport?

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Dogs are welcome on this walk, but they may need to be kept on a short lead for parts of it due to livestock roaming in some areas. There are stiles on this route.

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Hiking boots or shoes with good grip and ankle support
Snacks/lunch
Rucksack
Water (at least 1L)
Waterproofs
Warm layers
Hat and gloves
Walking poles (optional)
A small first aid kit with any personal medications

What time do I need to arrive?

We aim to meet at 9.45 to set off at 10am.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

This event is non-refundable. If you can no longer attend you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else but please let me know if you do so. No swaps to other events unless this has been agreed.
