Ciarb is an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).Our growing membership of over 17,000 is based across 149 countries and supported by an international network of 42 branches.Ciarb provides education and training for arbitrators, mediators and adjudicators.It also acts as a global hub for practitioners, policy makers, academics and those in business, supporting the global promotion, facilitation and development of all ADR methods.Ciarb offers a range of resources including guidance, support, advice, networking and promotional opportunities, as well as facilities for hearings, meetings and other events.It is a not-for-profit, UK registered charity.

Roebuck Lecture will be delivered by Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls.The Roebuck Lecture, now in its 12th year, is named after Professor Derek Roebuck MCIArb and celebrates the very significant contribution he has made to the Institute over the years, principally as Editor of Arbitration: The International Journal of Arbitration, Mediation and Dispute Management.This lecture takes place each summer and is one of the highlights of CIArb&#x27;s events calendar. This flagship event is open to practicing lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, barristers, corporate counsel, business professionals, students with interest in ADR and academics from around the world. CIArb extends the online live viewing of this year’s Roebuck Lecture to the whole ADR community worldwide, complimentary.In-person EventThe in person event will take place at 12 Bloomsbury Square. Purchasing a ticket to the in-person event will provide automatic access to the virtual event as well, free of charge.
