Who are these sessions for?

Root & Bloom sessions are for pregnant women and mothers with babies who are navigating the emotional, physical and identity shifts of motherhood. You don’t need any prior experience with groups, mindfulness or birth work.

Do I need to attend all sessions?

No. Each session stands alone, so you’re welcome to attend one, a few, or all of them depending on what feels right for you.

Question 3

Can I bring my baby?

Yes — babies up to one year are very welcome. To keep the space calm and safe for everyone, we ask that babies attend on laps or in buggies and are closely supervised if crawling or walking.

What if my baby cries or needs feeding?

That’s absolutely okay. This is a parent-friendly space and you’re free to feed, settle or step out and return as needed.

Is this a support group or therapy?

Root & Bloom is a supportive, facilitated session rather than therapy. It offers evidence-informed insight, gentle practices and space for reflection, without pressure to share or disclose anything personal.

Do I have to share or speak in the group?

Not at all. Sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to simply listen, reflect quietly and take what feels useful for you.

What will the session involve?

Each session includes gentle grounding practices, guided reflection, practical tools and facilitated discussion around the session’s theme. Everything is optional and designed to feel supportive rather than overwhelming.

What should I bring?

Just yourself and anything you or your baby might need. Wear warm, comfortable clothing.

How long is each session?

Each session lasts approximately two hours, allowing time to arrive, settle and leave without rushing.

Is the venue accesible?

Yes. The venue is pram-friendly and accessible. Free parking is available on site.

Sandridge Village Hall, North Room -access is via the gate behind the hall (through the car park). Full location details will be shared after booking.
