Is this event open to everyone?

Yes everyone is welcome. Although we recommend children be 16+

Question 2

Is this an outdoor event?

Accepted Answer

This event will be both outdoors and indoors. We have a beautiful room and outdoor space with a wild dipping pool (safe for swimming) a sauna and firepit area. Please dress for outdoors and wear comfy clothing. You might like to bring a blanket and cushion if you prefer sitting on the floor.

I have food allergies. Can these be catered for?

Yes, of course. Please let us know your dietary requirements and we will endeavour to provide a delicious alternative for you.

Question 4

I have never done anything like this before. Do I need experience?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not! This event is open to anyone who feels drawn and wants to experience a deeply relaxing and nurturing time.

Question 5

If I can't attend the event, do I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

All ticket sales are final.
We are unable to offer refunds, except in the unlikely case of cancellation. Tickets are transferable – if you can no longer attend, please pass your ticket along to a friend.
If you have extenuating circumstances, please let us know, and we will do our best to help.

Question 6

Do I need to bring my own drinks and snacks?

A delicious homemade lunch is provided and refreshments are available throughout the day. Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will do our best to provide a suitable alternative.

Question 7

Can I swim and have a sauna during the day? What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

The sauna and dipping pool will be available during the day for our sole use. We advise you bring a swimming costume or wetsuit if you prefer and a towel.  It is a small, wild lake which is perfect for a dip. There is a shower available in the main facility for your use too.

Question 8

Is it possible to stay the night before or after the retreat?

Accepted Answer

There are a few beautiful shepherd huts onsite, subject to availability. These would need to be booked via the Cowslip Meadows website: https://www.cowslipmeadows.co.uk
