Rooted. Circle (women's circle)

Rooted. Circle (women's circle)

East BankLondon, England
Sunday, Feb 1, 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm GMT
Overview

A women’s sharing circle rooted in the cycles of nature. A place to share, pause and connect.

Rooted in the changing seasons and the wisdom that comes from women gathering in circle, we will hear one another’s stories. Circle is a space to be heard, to listen, and to feel held and safe. There is no judgement or advice given, it is a place to simply be yourself. There is no pressure to speak - listening is always enough.

This Rooted. Circle is gently facilitated by me, Tor, and hosted in my home in North London (N16). On Sunday 1st February we will acknowledge Imbolc (mid point between the winter solstice and start of spring) a stirring of life and new possibilities as the seeds of winter start to grow.

In today’s world I feel like we need connection – to each other, to ourselves and to the planet. Circle can be a space for just that. We will sit together with intention. With intention to listen, connect, share (only if you wish), laugh, cry – everything is welcome!

What to expect…

  • A gentle welcome, check in, tea and circle guidance
  • A guided grounding exercise
  • Honest and optional sharing – deep listening and speaking your truth
  • Oracle cards available for those that choose
  • Nourishing snacks to close the circle and invite a more social energy
  • A maximum of nine women in Circle (including me)

I lovingly craft guidance about the Circle and how to tell if it is the space for you…

  • In circle we listen to each listen to each other with compassion and curiosity.
  • In circle we show up exactly as we are, no masks, we trust our sisters hold no judgement on us and we hold no judgement on ourselves.
  • In circle we don’t give any advice or try to fix anyone’s problems, we trust each sister has all they need within them.
  • In circle we keep the space sacred and confidential, we do not share another sisters story outside our space.
  • In circle we are sober, to ensure we are truly our authentic beautiful souls.
  • Rooted Circle is not for therapy, I am trained as a circle facilitator but not a therapist.

I have trained with Sister Stories and I am excited to be able to bring Rooted. Circles to London. While I facilitate the space, it is really the women that gather that make each Circle unique. This Imbolc Circle will be the first a series of future Circles rooted in inspiration from nature and the moon.

This Rooted. Circle falls within One Sacred Circle, a Sister Stories movement bringing together women in Circle all over the world during the weekend of 29th January to 1st February. We will sit in circle with women in Stoke Newington, and yet, in that moment, we will know that our circle is part of one of a thousand drops in an ocean of wisdom that spans the globe. Circle, by circle by circle, we will co-create a weekend of space which is tender, rooted in humanity and the medicine our world so dearly needs.

We will be cosy with cushions and blankets sitting on the floor, so I recommend wearing something you feel truly comfortable in. If it is chilly I will light the open fire. For those that find the floor uncomfortable a chair is welcome to you.

Circles will have a maximum of nine women (including myself). There is a reduced rate of £10 for this first Circle in the series. To keep the space inclusive I do not want finances to be a barrier to anyone and will offer three spaces for £5.

Circle is a space where anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome. Please do get in touch if you have any questions about this.
