Rooted for Relationships is an interactive teaching programme focusing on Christian, single men & women as they seek to form lifelong, Godly relationships. Relationships can be a challenge. The aim of ‘Rooted’ is to prepare 'you' for relationships whilst in your single season. This live seminar will help you to understand who you are and who God has created you to be, before you give yourself to others through dating, relationships and marriage.

On Saturday 25th May, 10am – 4pm, at City Gates Church, Clements Road, Ilford, IG1 1BH, Rob and Sonia will cover topics like: How do others perceive me? Do I communicate well? Is it MY way or GOD'S way? Setting standards and boundaries, developing Godly intimacy, dealing with unforgiveness and much more!

The 'Early Bird' Ticket is just £10 and includes refreshments.

Lunch is not provided but there are many eateries surrounding the venue. You are welcome to bring your lunch with you as there are facilities to heat food. You are also very welcome to remain in the venue during the lunch break.

N.B: This event is also applicable to those who are currently dating.

Is parking available at this venue?

Yes. There is a multi-storey car park immediately opposite the venue. We even have a special discounted rate for our visitors!

Is lunch provided at this event?

In order to keep the ticket fee as low as possible, we will not be providing lunch at this event. However, the venue is surrounded by a variety of eateries where lunch can be purchased. You are welcome to return to the venue to eat - we even have a rooftop, outdoor space where you can eat your meal.

Can I attend this event if I am already dating?

Yes! We highly recommend both of you attend the seminar - you will have lots to discuss afterwards!

The description says 'interactive'. Will I be expected to take part in role plays etc.

Not at all. You can interact as much as you choose to. No-one will ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with.

Can I attend if I am not a Christian/not in church?

Yes. Please do. As we are Christians, we teach from faith based content. As long as you are comfortable with that - we welcome you!

I am unable to attend this time. Will this event be repeated?

We tend to run 'Rooted for Relationships' at least once a year, sometimes twice. We also host the seminar in other churches and venues. Follow us on our socials to keep informed of our upcoming events

Sonia Harris, the director and lead relationship coach of Relationships A-Z is the author of six books, including: PlusOne = 3 and Rooted for Relationships.

Sonia is also the author of The A-Z of Godly Relationships podcast.

Sonia has worked as a relationship coach for 15 years and together with her husband oversees the Relationship and Marriage ministry at their church. Sonia is married to Rob and they have three teenage sons.
