📍 Private Lodge, Bransgore (New Forest)
Maximum 10 participants
Valentine’s Day is usually framed around romantic relationships. In this workshop, we turn our attention toward self-love — not as a solitary or self-improving practice, but as a relational one.
In forests, trees are connected through vast mycelial networks beneath the soil, where nourishment and information flow toward where they are most needed. Trees do not give endlessly; they receive support when they are depleted. What if we understood self-love in this way — not as something we generate alone, but as something we allow ourselves to be supported by, so that giving no longer comes at the cost of ourselves.
Rooted in Self Love explores what becomes possible when we allow ourselves to be supported, rather than constantly being the one who gives. Drawing inspiration from the forest and its underground networks of care, this day invites a re-imagining of self-love as something reciprocal, ecological, and sustaining.
This day offers space to explore where and how you support yourself, where you abandon yourself, and how to begin discerning what is truly yours to carry — and what has been held for too long on behalf of others. Through reflection, gentle practices, and time on the land, we’ll work with the rhythms of giving and receiving, learning how self-love can feel more like grounding and permission, and less like another task to get right.
Rather than focusing on self-improvement, this workshop invites self-acceptance, curiosity, and gentle honesty. From this place, something often softens — energy frees up, boundaries become clearer, and a sense of inner spaciousness and steadiness can emerge.
🌬️ What to Expect:
- Dream matrix to weave a collective intention.
- Wild ‘sit spot’ time in nature, being in silence to hear the messages of the soil, the trees, the wind, the stone and more than human.
- Embodiement practices and rituals to support release and letting go of what no longer serves you and stepping into receiving as well as giving.
- Moments of soulful reflection, journaling, and quiet witnessing by our group.
- Firelight and grounding rituals to close the circle in warmth and community
- Homemade vegan soup and sweet nourishment.
This offering is limited to 10 participants to support a spacious and held container.
Come as you are, and let the forest help hold what you no longer need to carry alone. This is a day to be held by the land, the group, and your own inner rhythms — and to remember what it feels like to have space again.
Please be aware we will be outside for much of the day and you will need warm, waterproof clothing and suitable footwear.
💳Investment: (Sliding Scale): £57 / £77 / £97
This workshop is offered with a sliding scale to acknowledge different capacities and circumstances. Please choose the amount that feels aligned for you. If you're able to offer more, know that your generosity helps make space for others to participate who might not otherwise be able to.
Let this be an act of collective care, not a transaction—a shared investment in a living field we’re weaving together.

Lucy Furniss
Wild Therapist | Gestalt Psychotherapist | Ritualist | Somatic Guide
Lucy’s work is rooted in softness, nervous system wisdom, and earth reverence and a deep listening to what is unfolding. She creates spaces where grief, truth, rest, and new life are all welcome — places to soften, unravel, and root back into your wild self.
This workshop grows from her own lived inquiry into rest, receiving, and self-love as an ecology — a space she is continuing to learn from herself. The day will be gently woven with movement, silence, ritual, and time on the land, honouring both the decay and the dream, held by the forest and the collective.
