Is this event accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All three venues are wheelchair accessible and have accessible toilets. If you have specific access needs (e.g. seating support, sensory considerations, or a quiet break-out space), please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

No materials are required as we’ll provide everything you need, including pens, paper, and poetic prompts. Just bring yourself, as you are.

Question 3

Is the event religious?

Accepted Answer

This is not a religious teaching session. While the workshop draws from Sufi-inspired themes and Punjabi poetic traditions, it is open to people of all faiths or none, and held in a spirit of reflection, not instruction.

Question 4

Can I attend more than one session?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask that you book only one session, as each workshop follows the same format. This allows space for others to attend.

Question 5

Is the session suitable for young people?

Accepted Answer

The workshop is designed for adults and older teens. We recommend it for ages 16 and above due to its reflective nature. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accommodate young children.

Question 6

Will there be refreshments?

Accepted Answer

We will not be providing refreshments, but you’re welcome to bring your own water bottle.

Question 7

Can I arrive late or leave early?

Accepted Answer

To maintain the reflective nature of the space, we ask all participants to arrive by 2:15 PM and stay for the full session if possible. Doors open at 2:00 PM.
