Come join storyteller Bernadette Russell at Lesnes Abbey Lodge for a cozy afternoon of fireside storytelling and celebrations of the Winter Solstice for adults. Let the flickering flames and enchanting stories transport you to another world. Don't miss this unique opportunity to gather together and celebrate the magic of the season.

I'll be telling stories about a Bear King,a Snow Queen, a magical child made of ice and longing, Jack Frost and the strange dark magic of the winter months, around a roaring fire amongst the ancient trees of this beautiful wood. There'll be lots of time to chat, opportunities to join in with the story if you'd like to (with no obligation to do so!), and we'll co-create a shrine to the seasons, light candles to welcome the return of the sun plus you'll receive a Yuletime gift from me and you'll leave ready to welcome the darker months. It'll be mysterious. fun and friendly!

Meet me at the Chesnut Kiosk at 2.30pm (14.30) and we will walk down together to The Clearing (Lesnes outdoor learning space) where a roaring fire will be there to welcome you, ready to start with stories at 3pm (1500)
