This course is perfect for those wanting to have their first go at willow weaving.

Magor Marsh

On this course you will be weaving the base of a round basket, staking up the basket, weaving the sides and turning down the border.
This course will include different techniques of willow weaving and basket making and by the end of the day you will have a beautiful basket to take home with you!The course is set at the wonderful Magor Marsh Nature Reserve near Magor, owned by Gwent Wildlife Trust. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day but please bring your own packed lunch. You will have a wonderful day in a beautiful setting learning an ancient craft.
