Get Ready, Get In, Get On and Go Further with a career in Devon Partnership NHS Trust

Our 'Routes in to Nursing' session is an opportunity to meet our Careers Team who will give a general overview of the Nursing career pathways available within Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

The session will start with an explanation around our Apprenticeship program, what is on offer and how our apprenticeships work within our organisation. We will then move onto how these fit into the Nursing career pathways on offer.

There will be an opportunity for those attending to ask questions following the presentations and to find out more about these exciting opportunities.

There is also an opportunity for follow up sessions on a 1:1 basis to discuss individual needs if required.

The learning outcomes from the session will be:

• Understand the Workforce Education and Development Team – who we are and what we can support you with

• Can describe the different routes into becoming an NMC registered nursing professional

• Understand the features of an apprenticeship- enrolment, induction, assessment,

• Understand the benefits to both you the employee and the employer

• Will be able to identify what you need to consider- pay, support, time commitment, eligibility before undertaking an apprenticeship
