Routes into Social Work in Devon Partnership Trust

Devon Partnership NHS Trust provide a range of high quality specialist mental health, learning disability and neurodiversity services for the people of Devon, the wider South West region and nationally.

Our events educate and inform interested parties, and staff members, on a variety of subjects including, career development sessions for our staff and for those who may be looking to join us.

Our ‘Routes into Social Work in Devon Partnership Trust’ session is an opportunity to meet with our careers team who will give an overview of the careers pathway into Social Work, both within the Trust and externally.

Learning outcomes:

• Outline the services within Devon Partnership Trust which require registered social workers.

• Distinguish the learning opportunities available within Devon Partnership Trust and externally to gain a social work qualification

• Understand what is required to prepare for the next step on the career pathway

• Outline how the courses are laid out and what might need to be considered to commence or be successful with these study routes

We will cover general information about apprenticeships and how these work within DPT.

The session is designed for potential applicants and learners, however interested managers or team members are welcome to attend
