Royal Guildford

Guildford has royal connections from Saxon King Alfred to Queen Elizabeth II as you will discover on this walk.

This is a brand-new walk to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Do you know about the two royal residences in Guildford and why plum cake is a key component of a royal visit? Most royal visits are happy events but whose visits ended with murder or with someone losing their head? Join this walk and find out.

The walk is about a a half a mile long with regular stops, and about 90 minutes in duration. You should wear suitable clothing for the prevailing weather conditions.
