Overview

Hear insights into local initiatives from three Fellows about their work for social change.

Join our regular meetup for RSA Fellows who live and work in or around Bristol.

Each Table Talk provides an opportunity to meet and make connections between initiatives across the city.

Fellows will share about the innovative projects they are working on and there will be questions to prompt discussion together.

Hosted by Kate Monkhouse, Fellowship Engagement Manager.

Presenters on the night will include:

Helena Traill - Helena Traill is a Bristol-based artist, designer and creative entrepreneur whose work bridges contemporary oil painting, design and storytelling. Founder of nooh Studio, she combines co-design, visual narrative and social impact projects with a unique neurodivergent perspective. Her art and entrepreneurial insights inspire creative growth and leadership.

Stuart Phelps - As a Convenor in Neighbourhood Planning and Chair of Baggator, Stuart focuses on community empowerment in Bristol. He advocates for local control over social programmes, challenging "Deprivation Farming" by leveraging AI to equip under-resourced areas. His work transforms charities into enabling organisations that ensure funding directly benefits the community.

Susan Hamilton - Susan Hamilton is Chief Executive of St Peter’s Hospice, a charity end of life care to adults in the Bristol area. Susan is an experienced leader with executive and non-executive director roles in local government, the NHS, housing and the charity sector and a professional background in public health.
