You are warmly invited to our November Exeter Meetup. Our network events encourage conversation and new connections, providing a chance for Fellows to meet in a relaxed setting, be inspired and find out more about the work of Fellows and the RSA.
This month James Bond FRSA will be presenting his work:
Making Harmonious relationships between differences.
An aesthetic adventure at the end of an era.
Two approaches :       
1   Practical non verbal (yet vocal) group axe meditations.
 2 A community is who turns up, working together alongside strangers in everyday settings.
James was born and brought up in Devon before being inspired in New York to gain a first-class degree in art at St Martins. Through his international travels and work with the renowned psychologist James Hillman and mythologist Michael Meade, James developed his unique approach. James synthesises the aesthetic and the artisan to engage primal emotions and build a psychological platform for people to become their unique selves. His approach has been used to engage hard to reach individuals and groups and enables them to build trust and harmonious relationships with each other and their local communities. The method can also be used as an individual or group practice in a business or personal development setting. James is great example of an RSA Fellow living the purpose of the organisation by creating enlightening thinking and putting it to work in practical ways.
On your way into the meeting, take a little time to admire the benches in the grounds of the venue and see how this work has been embodied in the art that this technique creates.
The local RSA team will look forward to welcoming you from 6.30pm with complimentary refreshments. This event is free to attend and open to Fellows, friends, and colleagues interested in supporting the work of the RSA. Please help us by booking your free tickets so we can plan our catering.
Time: Arrival & refreshment 6.30, meeting 7pm to 9pm
The Centre is a 10-minute walk from Exeter Central or Saint James station. There is some on road parking nearby or Bampfylde Street car park is a 3-minute walk away.
