RuneFest 2016 is coming on Saturday 17th September 2016.
This year will have an Eastern Lands theme, so join us for an intrepid celebration as RuneScape pushes new horizons.
RuneFest is your chance to get a front row seat for main stage announcements on what’s coming for RuneScape, Chronicle, Old School and more. We can’t wait to share all the awesome things that are coming up for 2017.
A new year also means a new venue and this year’s event is set to take place at the fabulous Battersea Evolution in London, England!

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All attendees must bring valid Photo ID matching the name on their ticket. All ages are welcome at RuneFest, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18). Attendees aged 17 or under will not be able to purchase or consume alcohol.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Getting to Battersea Evolution is easy - jump on the tube or train, or there's free parking on-site too!
- Train/Tube: 1 mile from Victoria Train Station (25-minute walk) and 1 mile from Sloane Square underground station (27-minute walk)
- Parking very close to the venue (spaces are offered by the local authority and we do not have the ability to reserve parking spaces), full details available on the Wandsworth Borough Council website.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Essential packing for RuneFest includes Photo ID, your ticket, a phone/camera, and spending money (for refreshments plus any merchandise you wish to purchase). There's no need to bring a computer/laptop as we'll be providing top-end gaming machines for you use!
All bags will be subject to search upon arrival at the venue, you will not be permitted to bring alcohol, or illegal items onto the event site. Any weapons/tools which could damage the venue/other guests will not be permitted on site.
If you are planning to attend in cosplay, please be mindful of the current security environment in the UK/Europe when carrying realistic-looking weaponry.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can bring your ticket in any form which shows the unique QR code, and your name. We recommend bringing your ticket on a mobile/tablet device or printed.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds cannot be issued for any reason, please make sure you can attend the event before purchasing a ticket!
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, all tickets/registrations must match the name on your photo ID. Attendees without photo ID or with a ticket which does not match their photo ID will not be permitted entry.
What is valid ID?
Valid ID includes:
- Drivers license
- Passport
- ID card bearing verifiable hologram (e.g. PASS)
- Military ID
- Student card
- National Identity card
