It’s time, people! RuneFest is back with the greatest RuneScape & Old School gathering we’ve ever produced! We’re heading back to the Farnborough Exhibition and Conference Centre to bring you two thrilling days of RuneScape fun. This year, like the last, it’s a double date; RuneFest 2019 will begin on Friday evening with the prestigious Golden Gnome Awards Night and continue onwards through Saturday at our huge venue just outside London. RuneFest 2019 will kick off on Friday 4th October from 6pm with the biggest night of the year... 
<H3 CLASS="MsoNormal">THE GOLDEN GNOME AWARDS NIGHT</H3>
RuneFest 2019 will kick off on Friday Evening. The Golden Gnome Awards are back, and this time they’re bigger and better than ever before! Join us for an evening of glitz and glamour while we recognise the talent and enthusiasm of our community members, content creators, and streamers.
Every award nomination is voted for by the RuneScape and Old School RuneScape communities, so keep an eye out for your chance to vote!
There’ll be plenty of entertainment throughout the evening, but don’t worry! You’ll have lots of time to catch up with your friends and fellow players, too. And of course, there will be some very special surprises on the night.
Food and drink will be available. Black tie optional.

<H3 CLASS="MsoNormal">RUNEFEST 2019</H3>
Okay, we’re a bit biased – but this year’s RuneFest is shaping up to be totally epic. We’re bringing back skill chips and adding new activities, new entertainment, and all the biggest announcements from both the RuneScape and Old School teams.
RuneFest is a celebration like no other. You can look forward to panel sessions with your favourite JMods and content creators, a huge PC LAN party, and goodie bags filled with RuneFest Loot.
Food and drink will be available onsite throughout the event, and as the day comes to a close we’ll also be hosting a massive afterparty for all our guests.

This year, everyone gets everything with one ticket. The Golden Gnome Awards and RuneFest itself are both included in everyone’s ticket.

Merchandise pre-orders close at midnight (GMT) on Sunday 18th August. After this time all merchandise will show as 'out of stock'. 
If you are pre-ordering your official RuneFest merchandise through eventbrite, please make sure you double check the following:

Personalised character name will be the one you give us in the RuneFest ticket confirmation order form. Please ensure this and your size is correct at time of purchase as no changes can be made post order and these items are non-refundable.

Please measure yourself and check sizing carefully before you order as sizing varies across different garments. Garment dimensions given are for the width of one side of the chest of the actual hoodie/tee (ie half the circumference of the chest of the garment) as measured 2-2.5cm under the bottom of the armhole.

If you have already bought your ticket – check your inbox for an email from us (noreply@e.runescape.com) with details of how to pre-order.  If you have not yet bought your ticket you will be given the option to add merch onto your order at check-out.

• One of the big benefits of Farnborough is that you can drive right there! There are 3,500 parking spaces which are free to players over the Friday & Saturday of RuneFest 2019

There are around 2,500 hotel rooms within 15 minutes of the venue. <H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">General Questions:</H3>
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?</H3>
 • Yes - we require all attendees to have valid photo ID which matches the information on their ticket. Valid ID includes passports, driving licenses, military ID, identity cards, age verification cards with a valid hologram. • Event attendees must be aged 16 or over, or otherwise be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. 
 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">What can I bring into the event?</H3>
• The only things you need to bring are yourself, your ticket, valid ID, and any spending money! You're also welcome to bring your cosplay outfits and props (but please make sure they are safe!). 
We do not permit the following into the event (and they may be confiscated by event security/police):
• Alcohol, drugs, or any kind of illegal substance • Pyrotechnics, explosives etc • Weapons or objects which may cause damage to the venue or other attendees • Personal food and drink (without prior agreement from event security, usually permitted for people with severe allergies etc)
 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">Can I use RuneScape bonds to purchase my RuneFest ticket?</H3>
• Unfortunately not - there were a number of issues surrounding this service which has meant we are not able to offer this option anymore. Instead tickets will be purchasable through Eventbrite using credit/debit cards. 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">What's the refund policy?</H3>
• Unfortunately, we are not able to refund tickets for any reason. Please be sure you can attend before making your purchase! 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?</H3>
• You can bring your ticket as a print out, on the EventBrite app, or on your phone as an image/PDF. Provided the QR code and your registrant details are legible then you can attend! 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">Can I update my registration information?</H3>
• Yes! If you'd like update any details on your ticket, please just log into your EventBrite account and change the details. 
<H3 CLASS="bb bb-yellow">Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?</H3>
• No, all information on your ticket must match the attendee, and their valid photo ID.
 
<H3>Can I get a personal assistant/carer ticket for the event?</H3>
Yes - If you are unable to attend the event without support from a personal assistant, we will provide a personal assistant ticket at no additional cost. To request this ticket you'll need to contact us by email at support@runefest.com with the relevant details. Please bear in mind we will request supporting documentation. 
Personal assistant tickets will be provided on the expectation that they will be willing and able to assist the paid ticket holder throughout the event, including during an emergency or evacuation of the building.  
 
<H3>Photography & Filming</H3>
Photography and filming will take place in during this event
The photographs and films will be used by Jagex for the purpose of promoting it's activities – these may be published on Jagex’s websites and social channels as well as being circulated to the press and other media organisations for publication, transmission or broadcast.
If you do not wish to appear in the photographs or films, please notify a member of the Events team
