Guy will be talking about his extraordinary solo overland journey across Africa with Parkinson's. His talk will include clips from his forthcoming documentary, ‘Running on Empty’, which is due to be aired by Channel 4 later in the year. His book, published in April, also titled, 'Running on Empty' will be available for sale - with ALL proceeds from the evening going to Parkinson’s Charities including The Deacon Foundation which has been set up by Guy and focuses on raising awareness of Parkinson’s, particularly in Africa. Parkinson’s Disease is now the fastest growing neurological condition in the world.
Guy’s talk will be held at St Mary’s Church, Hornby at 6pm, followed by drinks and canapes hosted by us at Hornby Castle.
