My Life Films creates free biographical films for people living with dementia to help celebrate and remembertheir lives.My Life Films help celebrate the life of a person living with dementia by capturing their unique story in a film, produced just for them. The films help to improve the quality of life of the person living with dementia and acts as an innovative care tool during all stages of the disease. This is a free service for people living with dementia.My Life Films aims to:Improve the quality of life of people living with dementia by increasing self-esteem and reducing isolation.Improve the quality of professional care by providing carers with a personal insight into the life of the person they care for.Bring families together and give them a lasting memory of their loved one.Thursday 30th November 2017 from 19:30 to 23:00 GMTDates on completed events cannot be changed.

Get first hand tips from one of Britain's finest runners while learning what it's like to be an Olympic athlete! 
This event is suitable for runners of all abilities.
Andy Vernon ran in the 10,000 meters final in the Rio Olympics and is silver and bronze medalist over 5,000 and 10,000 meters in the European Championships. 
Together with Ross Murray and other professional runners, Andy will take you through your warm up, drills and sessions, before giving you an insight on how to stay cool when it comes to that all important race in an Q&A session.
The workshop will teach you how to improve your strength and conditioning in order to avoid injury, how to better your endurance, speed and speed endurance as well as how to get the most out of training by getting the right amount of recovery in.
Tickets are £20 for adults and £10 for juniors and students. All proceeds go to My Life Films, an award winning charity helping people with dementia. www.mylifefilms.org
Light refreshments and fruit will be provided for after the training session.
This event will take place on 16 May at the Mo Farah running track at St Mary's University in Twickenham, from 19:00 until 21:00. 
If you become injured or cannot take part in the training session for any reason you are still more than welcome to come along and pick the professional athletes' brains.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Changing rooms will be availabe but please make sure you are changed before the start of the event.
