Please join us on Thursday 2 May to learn about the Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi, the lasting impact it had physically as well as the resilience it took for the country to raise from the ashes. We will be joined by the High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to the UK, His Excellency Johnston Busingye, who will give an address opening the event. This will be followed by a seminar by Professor Leon Mutesa, Director of the Centre for Human Genetics, University of Rwanda, on the biological effects of trauma.
