Learn how to provide first aid in a marine environment with the RYA First Aid course!
This one-day course is focused on providing first aid skills and knowledge specifically for people who go afloat in various disciplines. It covers topics like CPR, cold shock, hypothermia, seasickness, medical advice by VHF, helicopter rescue, category C medical stores and more, with a focus on delivering first aid in afloat scenarios.
This course can be used towards commercial endorsements for those involved in professional maritime work. Please ensure that this course meets the requirements for the vessels and sea areas you will be working in should it be required as part of a commercial endorsement.
Upon completion candidate will receive an RYA First Aid Certificate, valid for three years.
