RYA Level 1 Powerboat

This one day course will provide a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. No previous experience is required. The minimum age for the course is 8, and all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The course will run from 9am - 5pm.

The course covers boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. A certificate will be issued after the course.

Attendees need to bring a packed lunch, and warm clothing for the day.
