This is a two day course with partcipants needing to attend both days

Days run from 9:30 until 4:30

What is it?

The very first course in the National Sailing Scheme aimed at complete begineers teaching the foundations of dinghy sailing.

Who is it aimed at?

Anyone aged 16 and over

What do you need?

BCYC can provide wetsuits, helmets and spray tops.

Students must bring their own lunch (There is access to a kettle, fridge and microwave)

Teas and Coffee's are available to buy

Appropriate footwear. (Wetsuit boots, Old lightweight trainers.)

As well as a dry change of clothes.

Parking is available on site. (Entrace at the axbridge resorvoir car park. the lock will be set ajacent and signed to be left open.)

Entries close 7 days prior to the first day of the course.

Refunds are only offered if the course is cancelled by BCYC

BCYC exists to help people enjoy a range of watersports, whatever your ability or age. Anyone is welcome to join us afloat at Cheddar Reservoir near Axbridge. Although the club atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly we aim to provide a professional environment for teaching a range of watersports including Sailing, Windsurfing, Powerboating, Stand-Up Paddleboards and Sit-On Kayaks.
