Calling all graphic designers, illustrators, digital designers, product designers, textile designers, photographers, filmmakers, and other creatives! What: We may not be able to meet in person but our annual Christmas do is still on!  Don your best Christmas jumper (or not) and join us for an evening of festive fun online for a casual meet-up with our current and new creative community members. Discuss design, WFH, exchange ideas or current briefs, and meet people to collaborate with all from the safety of your own home.This month, we will also have two superb speakers who have been supporting creative people for years and will be providing some tips and insights to help in this challenging time.Lou Bones (@loubones) is an Illustration + Animation at Jelly London (@jellylondon) and previously managed the Association of Illustrators (@theaoi)With a real passion for nurturing talent and business development, she’s ready to empower you with the info you need to make a big step forward.Xavier Segers @the_last_dodo is a Belgian graphic designer and illustrator. He moved to London 6 years ago to work as an art director for a creative agency. After two years he made the leap and became a full-time freelancer. Recently working for brands such as HSBC, KitKat and BAFTA.His artwork invokes wonder through his intricate and playful style. It is heavily inspired by his love for nature and surrealism. Balancing graphic design and illustration, he found his own way to blend this into a happy marriage.He now focuses on creating visual identities and working on large scale illustration projects.He recently received a World Illustration Award for the work he did for the Welsh National Opera. An immersive installation based on the opera &#x27;A Cunning Little Vixen&#x27;, where visitors could walk through 5 wooden arches and interact with the illustrations.When: December 9, 2020. 7.00pm online via Zoom.How: Sign up for a free ticket to this event on this page.
