Please Note: This event is being held only for those based in Hampshire or working with Hampshire residents.

We welcome you to a reflective session to consider learning from recent safeguarding adult reviews in Hampshire. This session is open to all and will be of particular interest to those with a safeguarding lead role.

BOOKING INFORMATION

Please note that only one ticket should be booked per named candidate. If you are booking for other members of your team, please ensure that their names are accurately recorded. Links to online events will be sent out in the week prior to the event being run.

The HSAB does not accept bookings from delegates using a private e-mail address. If you do not have a work e-mail address, then please arrange for your organisation to make the booking for you.

Places on this course are very limited. If you are unable to attend a course, please ensure that you cancel your place through Eventbrite, or inform us at hsab@hants.gov.uk to do this on your behalf, so that spaces may be made available for others that wish to attend.

All training events are FREE to attend, and places must be booked in advance. HSAB will circulate details of all events in advance and will provide a link to Eventbrite to enable bookings to be made online. Failure to attend without providing an apology may result in you not being able to book on future courses.

The HSAB acts as the key mechanism for agreeing how agencies will work together effectively to safeguard and promote the safety and well-being of adults at risk and/or in vulnerable situations.

The HSAB aims to promote awareness and understanding of abuse and neglect among service users, carers, professionals, care providers and the wider community and works to generate community interest and engagement in safeguarding to ensure “Safeguarding is Everyone’s Business”.

The HSAB is responsible for ensuring that the systems in place locally to protect people at risk are proportionate, balanced and responsive. It commissions safeguarding adult reviews in cases where there have been poor outcomes to ensure that lessons are learned.

Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) is a partnership which is responsible for making sure robust arrangements are in place to support people experiencing abuse or neglect.
